This is a [Next.js](https://nextjs.org) project bootstrapped with [`create-next-app`](https://nextjs.org/docs/app/api-reference/cli/create-next-app).

## Getting Started

First, run the development server:

```bash
npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev
# or
bun dev
```

Open [http://localhost:3000](http://localhost:3000) with your browser to see the result.

You can start editing the page by modifying `app/page.tsx`. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.

This project uses [`next/font`](https://nextjs.org/docs/app/building-your-application/optimizing/fonts) to automatically optimize and load [Geist](https://vercel.com/font), a new font family for Vercel.

## AI-Generated Marker Compliance

Scriba automatically marks AI-generated converted outputs for EU AI Act Art. 50(2) and CGF Art. 3.9(e) compliance.

- Marker insertion is automatic in export and API output flows (no manual step).
- Marker syntax is language-aware:
  - `/* ... */` for C-family targets
  - `#` for Python/Ruby/Shell
  - `--` for SQL/Ada style
  - `%` for Erlang/Prolog style
  - `;` for Lisp/Clojure style
- Non-comment formats (for example strict JSON/XML/HTML) use sibling sidecar files: `<filename>.scriba-marker.json`.
- ZIP and push bundles include `SCRIBA_MANIFEST.json`.
- Marker fields include:
  - `@scriba-ai-generated: true`
  - `@scriba-marker-version: 1`
  - `@scriba-source-language`
  - `@scriba-target-language`
  - `@scriba-conversion-id`
  - `@scriba-timestamp`
  - `@scriba-platform-version`

Validation:

npx tsx scripts/validate-markers.ts --fixtures test/fixtures/sample-output/
```
